My mind and body seem worlds apart more often than not these days. This physical shift has persuaded me to slow down…Mean while,
sitting in my meditation practice, I open to expand my consciousness, ask that the veils of my illusions be removed and allow the waves of fear and confusion to flow by. Not grasping or desiring to change or study.
My need for my rest is met with kindness and permission to do what I need for self care, without guilt or diagnosis…..
Embracing the light of the moon and the disturbance of the humming vibration from neighboring spaces last night … sleep eluded me.
So the sun shines now mid day and I will nap.
Tonight we will light the fire and dance on the beach enjoying the moonlight..
My meditation practice, first thing every morning, which I conclude with the intention to be with whatever arises in the day to come, helps me (somewhat) to meet the latest outrageous doings of the Trump administration with as much equanimity as I’m capable of (which is, often enough, not nearly enough).
Listen to lots of hand pan music also known as hang drum; free on old youtube.
Malte Marten is a master. 1,111 hertz. Energizing AND invigorating. Has brought amazing healing in my life, despite the ******* times we are in.
